# Digital Marketing Intern

## About Geology

Geology is a marketing lab. We build AI agents that do the work marketing agencies still do
by hand, and we use them to run SEO and GEO for our clients. GEO, short for Generative
Engine Optimization, means getting a brand mentioned and cited in AI answers from ChatGPT,
Google's AI Overviews and Perplexity. It is the trend every company wants to capture, and
we help them do it.

Our clients range from global Fortune 500 brands to industrial manufacturing companies in
India. A large team of AI agents does most of the work, and a small, hand-picked team of
people guides those agents and delivers the work to clients.

Both founders are from IIT Bombay and have built companies before. The team is small, so
you work directly with the founders and see how AI agents are built and run on real client
work.

## What you will do

**Search data and content ideas**

- Review search data for client websites and spot trends
- Turn what you find into content ideas, and research what already ranks and what AI assistants cite

**Content**

- Research and write content for client websites and publications
- Review what our AI agents write: check the facts, prices and details against the client's live website, and fix what reads wrong

**Community and off-site**

- Engage on Reddit and similar platforms from our accounts, with helpful, genuine answers
- Check that what we have posted and placed is live and linking correctly

## What we are looking for

- A final-year student or recent graduate
- Any degree. Marketing, management, mass communication or English backgrounds are a good fit
- Able to join immediately, full time, for 2 months
- Strong written English
- Careful with detail. You check before you say something is done
- Interest in SEO, digital marketing and AI tools
