FAQ

Does Anchorify replace Quip?
Anchorify replaces Quip only for the document-delivery step: publishing a finished file to a reader who should not need an account. It does not replace Quip's live Salesforce data integration, document-plus-spreadsheet editing, or per-document team chat. If your workflow centers on CRM-embedded account plans or mutual close plans, Quip Advanced is still the right tool for that layer.
Can Quip documents be shared publicly without a login?
No, at least not by default. Quip requires recipients to sign into a Quip account before they can view a shared document. There is no public-link equivalent to Google Docs' 'Anyone with the link can view' setting or Notion Sites.
What is the cheapest alternative to Quip for small teams?
Anchorify is free during beta, with no per-seat cost on the reader side. Google Docs is free and supports anonymous viewing when shared publicly. Both cover the basic case of sharing a finished document with an external recipient who does not need an account.
What happens to my Quip documents if I stop paying?
Your Quip documents are stored on Quip's servers and become inaccessible when a subscription lapses. Export before canceling: use Quip's File menu to export each document as Word or PDF. There is no bulk-export tool, so plan for the per-document export step as the main time cost of the migration.
